The Town of Fairfield will hold the anticipated Passport raffle drawing November 6th at 10 am in the 2nd floor conference room of Independence Hall, 725 Old Post Road. The winners of several donated prizes will be announced immediately thereafter. Be sure to check your email, as each winner will be personally emailed! More than 23 local businesses and organizations donated prizes to Restaurant Weeks dynamic raffle pool. The winner of the top prize, $500 cash, is courtesy of the Gray Goose and will also be announced.

First Selectman Mike Tetreau and his team: Mark Barnhart – Economic Development Director, Robert Hojnacki – Director of Business Development and First VP at Bankwell (a RW sponsor), and Tommy Febbraio – owner of the Gray Goose and Little Goose Restaurants, will select the prize winners.

Additional prizes include: gift certificates or prizes from The Sportsplex, the Chamber of Commerce, the Fairfield University Bookstore, Mo’s Wine & Spirits, Island Outfitters, Sweet Rexies, Apricot Lane, the Fairfield Museum and History Center and many more.

“I am so pleased that the town of Fairfield has held another successful Restaurant Week. I would like to thank all the restaurants, retailers, prize donors and sponsors, as well as the businesses, community groups and organizations, for making Fairfield’s second annual Restaurant Week a true success,” said Michael Tetreau, First Selectman. “I also wish to thank everyone who frequented our fine shops and restaurants and hope they had an enjoyable time.” Tetreau hopes next year’s Restaurant Week will be even more successful.

Roughly 500 completed "Passports" were turned in and the overall tally, a positive one. “Reports from participating restaurants were all very positive,” said Mark Barnhart. “Each reported that this event met or succeeded their expectations and some reported increased traffic compared with last years event.”
