Do you know who’s behind those canine dreadlocks? If you regularly drive down North Benson Road, you’ve probably seen “the mop dogs.” Maybe you thought the duo were statues until they moved or maybe you stopped to say hello. As with any celeb, greetings on the street, photos ops, and questions are on-going events. You’re not the only one. These two pooches are attention-getters.
We decided to find out more:
Names: Greer (female) is 10, Bedros (male) is 3

Did you know? Greer and Bedros marched in the NYC Columbus Day parade in 2009 and were featured in the New York Post. Consequently, they were blogged about by Martha Stewart. They’ve also appeared on Channel 12’s Pet Talk
More news for dog owners…
Your first glance at Pet Extravaganza may have you cocking your head to the side like a curious pup. What’s inside? Look around this luxury canine boutique—it’ll get your tail wagging. Parisian owners Johannes and Caroline Bahadourian opened the shop last November and delight customers with one-of-a-kind and designer apparel and accessories for lucky pooches. For those who appreciate exclusivity, see the exquisite, handmade leather collars imported from France. These collars are suitable for all breeds from mastiff to toy poodles with attitude.
For top dogs, check out the rare Louis Vuitton collector in horse (only one in America)—you can make an offer but the owners won’t likely part with it. The Bahadourians also offer years of experience with breeding, training and raising pets. (Collars shown start at $200.)
